2. Types of Data Collected

In the course of our activities, we collect the following categories of personal data:

• Identification and contact data: first name, last name, email address, phone number, postal address, provided through the contact form or during the summer camp registration process.
• Minors' data: first name, last name, date of birth, health data strictly necessary for participation in sporting activities (medical certificate for non-competitive sports), provided by the parent or legal guardian at the time of registration.
• Browsing data: technical data automatically collected during website navigation (IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, access time).

3. Purposes and Legal Basis

Personal data is processed for the following purposes:

• Summer camp registration management: processing registration requests, organisational communications regarding boarding, management of the UISP membership card and insurance coverage. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Responding to contact requests: managing enquiries submitted through the website contact form. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Legal obligations: fulfilment of obligations required by applicable law (tax, accounting, insurance). Legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
• Participant safety: processing limited health data strictly necessary to ensure safety during sailing activities. Legal basis: explicit consent of the parent/guardian (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR).

Personal data is processed using electronic and/or paper-based tools, with organisational and logical methods strictly related to the purposes indicated above, and in any case in a manner that ensures data security and confidentiality.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Personal data may be shared with:

• UISP (Italian Union of Sport for All) for issuing the membership card and insurance coverage.
• Insurance companies in the event of a claim or for policy management.
• Professionals and consultants (accountant, legal counsel) for tax and regulatory compliance.
• Law enforcement and authorities upon request, in cases provided for by law.

Personal data is not publicly disclosed or transferred to third countries.

6. Data Retention

Personal data is retained for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected:

• Registration data: for the duration of the membership and for the following 10 years for tax and accounting purposes.
• Contact form data: for 12 months from the request, unless a membership relationship is established.
